About us
Riverside Concert Band is a local community Wind Band based in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, formed in 2015 and previously known as the Eastleigh Town Band.
We have over 30 members playing a range of wind instruments from flutes, to tubas, and everything in between, performing rock, pop and music from the stage and screen.
We attract a diverse and wide range of ability levels for those who love to play for the sheer enjoyment of music, all ably led by our lively and enthusiastic Music Director, Robert Wingfield.
Riverside Concert Band has performed in public on many occasions including Romsey Bandstand, Winchester Christmas Market, The Boaz Centre, The QE2 Activity Centre, and various Schools and Care Homes in the Eastleigh area.

“Welcomed from the start, even after not picking up my flute for over 15 years, I quickly got the hang of it again.
I’ve loved playing everything from musical theatre and classical to rock and pop, especially with our new musical director bringing fresh energy and “cracking” new pieces.
Tuesday rehearsals are great fun and a perfect bit of midweek mindfulness away from work and family.
Everyone is friendly and supportive, and there’s nothing better than performing well and really nailing a piece together.
I still go home humming - those Meat Loaf and gaming medleys are living rent free in my head!”
